We take a three-pronged approach to semiannual dental exams.
Step 1 – We check for hidden problems. Problems fall into a variety of categories. We might notice that your gums are receding, which could be a sign of gum disease. We also might find teeth that are chipped, cracked, or decaying. Our thorough examination allows our dentists to find all issues. If you schedule two appointments a year, we will be able to catch the problems early, before they become serious problems.
Step 2 – We clean your teeth. We provide a thorough cleaning that you can’t get with your toothbrush and dental floss at home. During this process, we clean and polish your teeth, and then rinse them to get rid of tartar and plaque. You’ll leave our office looking like a new person.
Step 3 – We come up with a treatment plan if needed. Many of our patients just require a cleaning, but some have additional issues. If we find problems with your teeth, we will go over your treatment options with you.
