Root Canals

Bacteria is always looking for a way inside your teeth. If your tooth has a big crack or a deep cavity, bacteria has easy access to the pulp tissue. The germs can cause an infection, which, in turn, can lead to an abscess—an incredibly uncomfortable condition that can also damage your jawbone.

Back in the old days, you would have had to get your tooth pulled if this happened. Now, though, you can save your tooth with a root canal.

During the procedure, one of our dentists will remove the infected tissue and thoroughly clean the tooth. Once cleaned, your dentist will seal it and fill it with a dental composite. In cases of severe decay, you might also need to get a dental crown to restore and protect the tooth from further damage.

At our practice, we also offer same-day crowns with CEREC technology. This allows us to design, craft, and place a custom crown in a single visit—saving you time and eliminating the need for temporary crowns or multiple appointments.

Depending on the severity of your issue, your root canal treatment could take one to three visits. Contact Two Aces Dentistry to find out more about root canal treatments.
